Welcome to Sir John A. Macdonald School!!
Sir John A. Macdonald School, located in the west end of Belleville, serves approximately 300 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6.
SJAM is a single storey accessible school with a spacious playground, and adjoining parks. The school is proud of its 60 year history of education excellence. The focus is on literacy and numeracy. Our school joins with HPEDSB's 'Growing with Character'.
Each month we celebrate learning through a Celebration Assembly which showcases all aspects of school curriculum and extra curricular activities.
Building an inclusive school community is a priority for all who attend and work at Sir John A. Macdonald School.
Students proceed to Centennial Secondary School for Grades 7 to 12.
